Studio Policies
Welcome to Pinewood Pilates & Movement!
To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all our clients, please review the following studio policies:
1. Class Reservations & Cancellations
Reservations: Classes and private sessions must be booked in advance via our online scheduling system. Drop-ins are not guaranteed and are subject to availability.
Cancellations for private and semi-private session: Cancellations must be made via our website at least 24 hours before your scheduled private or semi-private session. Late cancellations and no-shows of private sessions will result in the full fee being charged or the deduction of one class from your package.
Cancellations for group classes: Cancellations must be made via our website at least 4 hours before scheduled your group class. Late cancellations of group classes will result in $10 being charged and no shows will result in the full fee being charged or the deduction of one class from your package.
Waitlist: If a class is full, you may join the waitlist. If a spot becomes available, you will be automatically enrolled and notified via email.
2. Payment & Packages
Payments: Payment is required upon booking. We accept all major credit cards via the booking section on our website.
Packages: Class packages are available at discounted rates. A single class/session expires after 1 month of purchase, 5 packs expire within 3 months of purchase and 10 packs expire in 6 months of purchase. Packages are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Refunds: No refunds are issued on any class, package, or session. Exceptions may be made in cases of medical emergencies with a valid doctor’s note.
3. Studio Etiquette
Arrive On Time: Please arrive 5-10 minutes early to ensure you are ready to begin the class on time. The downstairs door will be locked at the class start time and late arrivals may not be allowed to join to avoid disrupting the session.
Cleanliness: Please wipe down all equipment after use. Sanitizing spray and towels are provided for your convenience.
Attire: Wear comfortable, form-fitting clothing to allow for freedom of movement. Pilates is practiced barefoot or with grip socks.
Personal Belongings: Please store your belongings in the designated area. Pinewood Pilates & Movement is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
4. Health & Safety
Health Considerations: If you are pregnant, recovering from an injury, or have any medical conditions, please inform your instructor before class.
COVID-19 Protocols: A hand sanitizing station is available at the entrance to the studio. If you feel unwell or have been in contact with someone who is sick, please stay home and cancel your session.
5. Liability Waiver
All clients must complete a waiver before participating in any class or private session. By attending, you acknowledge and accept any risks associated with physical activity and waive any liability against Pinewood Pilates & Movement or its instructors.
